Hello All! This is my first time blogging and I’m going through the site figuring it out. I am also practicing Weber Concerto No. 1 for my concerts with the Annapolis Symphony on Sep. 25th and 26th. This is a whole new world for me so I hope it is enjoyable for everyone. Also I’m trying to leave an audio clip so I hope it works. If not I’ll try again later.

Best of success with this new venture, Anthony. Look at it this way: Mastering the blog is a heluva lot easier than mastering the clarinet.
Just don’t try and lip-sync the audio clip, and it’ll be just fine…

I just started a blog about clarinet-playing too!
I think you are a very good clarinetist. I saw you perform at the inauguration. I’m from Chicago too — well the suburbs. I started playing clarinet 2 years ago, and I love it. I’m 12 now.
I wanted to play the bassoon, but I was too small, so I started on the clarinet. It turns out I love the clarinet, and I’ve decided this will be my instrument. My goal is to become professional clarinetist when I grow up.
I really admire your playing. I hope I get to see you perform again soon. Do you perform in Chicago?
